What is a Lightworker?

What is a Lightworker?

Lightworker (now-n);Any being dedicated to the cultivation of inner presence and the elevation of awareness in self and other selves. This being is called a lightworker and is an evolutionary step toward a state of “LightBeing”
What’s happening in the world?
There is an awakening happening all around the world. And that awakening involves you and every being that exists on our lovely home planet, mother earth. We are truly entering a renaissance of spiritual evolution, an evolutionary process that proceeds and transcends the physical. Our wisdom stems from coming to understand how little we conceptually know about life, god, the universe and everything, and embracing the fundamental truth of inherent divinity within all life.

What is a Lightworker?
Everyone is a Lightworker whether they know it at all. Just as truth is truth whether anyone knows it or not. The real question arises then, “Am I aware of who I am?” Behind all labels, behind all self created illusions of mind and ego, or social dogmas and masks, there lies the truth, the answer to that question. Just as the Sun shines bright both day and night, it is only the movement of the planet and clouds that obscure it from view. But the sun is always shining. A Lightworker is awake to this truth, aware of their true presence and living in accordance with the divine plan. All beings that exist are a channel between eternal, formless heaven and the temporary world of form and illusion, earth. Why am I here? One does not always need to consciously realize the answer to this question, but living your life purpose is achievable in every moment, right now. Sit in peaceful contemplation, in pure awareness. Allow yourself to be present in every moment and feel within the depths of your heart for your inner truth, your guidance. The work is easy and the burden is light. Your true essence of being is so vast, it is beyond any concept, any word, thought or form. A Lightworker then is any being, who is aware of their true non-dual nature, their eternal “I Am” Presence and acting in accordance with it. A Lightworker is active in enlightenment, or in cultivating enlightenment.

What is Lightworking?
Just as the sun rises each morning, to shine its light into the world, so it is with lightworking. To walk upon the face of the planet lightly, light in spirit and bearing, and shine love, happiness, tranquillity and peace into the world. To calm the inner turmoil, to just be, and be at one with who you truly are, to love and honour life as an expression of divinity, to love all that is, that power some call god, and of course to love one and other unconditionally. In being true to the divine presense within all beings, and releasing all false thought forms, all masks and illusions, is the essence of lightworking. In this lightworking emanates love, happiness, joy, faith, hope and inspiration into the inner and outer world. This not only helps to awaken the lightworker, but also to awaken others to their own natural state. What can be called enlightenment, what may be called ascension. A Lightworkers divine mission then comes to life, as one enters the flow of creation and maintains the presence of awareness without being caught up in the turmoil of the creation. This is done in the service of all. For all beings (self included), all the time.

What does a Lightworker do?
All life exists for a sacred purpose. A Lightworker, that is a being, aware of their true presence, their inner awareness and non-dual nature then becomes a vehicle for divine activation. This role is a very simple and a natural one. When the illusionary self is dissolved into the true sense of being, the IAM presence, a being begins to shine and resonate this mandala field of pure state bliss. The transition starts from Lightworker to Light Being. This activation can occur anywhere, in any situation, in all places, roles and demographics, from the mother at home to the soldier in the military, even in the depths of the darkest regions of human nature this blossoming occurs. It can be slow, or instant. It has been this way for eternity. For all the people, all the time. All for one and one for all. This is the effortless state of being, devoid of all grasping, all seeking. This is existence under a blue sky, and bright sunshine, exposing all to the life giving energies of our divine source.

What is the Light Energy?
Light Energy has many names. Some names include, the oriental Chi, Yin and Yang, the Indian Prana, and the Greek Aether. The light Energy pervades all. It encompasses all things. It is of the source, but not the source. It is the flow itself. It is the essence of all things. The primordial essence of spirit before it manifest into form. It is from where all things emanate, and all things return. It is the stuff of stars and the stuff of souls. We see it, and experience it in this material world as both form/matter and energy vibration. We experience it as thought and emotions. All these things are waves on the primordial ocean, resonating in various frequencies. All energy is frequency, and all frequency is harmony. Everything before you now is connected through frequency. The sounds you hear.. Do Re MI Fa So La Ti DO.. to the light you see.. Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Magenta, Violet, RED, winding its way up through the frequencies. Even the course elements of matter are connected to this harmony H,He,Li,Be,B,C,N. Each is the same, just operating on a different frequency, at a different harmonic. All is Light.. All is Energy. And its master is divine consciousness. We are constantly, directing spirit into form, thought, actions and endeavours. The question arises. “From what level of consciousness to I create?” This will determine the results and experiences of life. Each being, operates in various levels of consciousness. Yet when creation emanates from the source itself, free from resistance and obstruction, divine will manifests. Heaven is made manifest on earth. The cards are stacked for growth and learning. We will be guided by angels or pushed by demons.

Where do I start?
Being a Lightworker is both very easy and very hard. How hard is it to be the real you? Are you prepared to let go of everything? Think of who you will be when all form and material life is gone. That is the real you. Are you prepared to forgive and release all? There is nothing you must do, it’s all about what you no longer need to do. To stop hiding, to face the true awesome reality of who and what you are, free from all illusions. Are you a thinking, breathing, centered person? Do you control your ego, or does your ego control you? Do you live in a state of awareness or reaction? Where are you looking for your answers? Within or without? These are all serious questions we must contemplate and come to accept for ourselves.. To “Know Thy Self” beyond mind, beyond ego, beyond words is the first and only step.

Awakening the Healer Within

Awakening the Healer Within

by Deepak Chopra

In my experience as a physician, over several decades, I have come to realize that a person’s internal state of well-being really influences the outcome of illness. If you are feeling safe, loved, and the people around you are supportive, then your body is more likely to self-regulate. Self-regulation is an important part of the healing process. We all have a healing response built into our biology. This healing response is the restoration of homeostasis.

Homeostasis is a state of dynamic, non-change in the midst of change. This means that in a healthier person, thousands of biological parameters remain within a certain range no matter what is happening in the environment. These biological parameters include everything from blood sugar levels to hormone levels to body temperature regulation to regulation of the immune system. It is now known that stress disrupts homeostasis and the experience of centered awareness and the giving and receiving of love restore homeostasis.

As I have indicated, disruption of homeostasis is the beginning of disease and the restoration of homeostasis is the healing response. Therefore, no matter what illness you are facing, the most important thing you can do is to move from a place of fear to a place of love and safety. In breast cancer in particular there is research to show that women in support groups have a much healthier outcome then women who feel lonely and afraid. Today, the precise biological pathways through which love heals are even being mapped out by scientists. In particular, an internal state of euphoria induced by the experience of love causes the secretion of neurochemicals such as dopamine, serotonin, opiates, oxytocin, and vasopressin. These chemicals are not only antidepressants; they also modulate the activity of the immune system and are referred to as immuno-regulators.

Therefore, have confidence in your own healing power, awaken the healer within you, and surround yourself with loving and caring people and have a one-pointed intention that you will heal yourself. The mechanism through which intention orchestrates biological response is a mysterious phenomenon. But there is no doubt that intention influences our biology. Through meditation, for example, one can learn to lower heart rate and blood pressure and eliminate the stress response. When intention is introduced before meditation it works in a precise manner by evoking very specific biological phenomena. According to wisdom traditions, intention has infinite organizing power.

This means that intention can orchestrate an infinity of space-time events in order to fulfill the intended outcome. In fact, a frequently-used term in the field of biology is teleology. Teleology was an old-fashioned term which is now being used frequently to explain certain mechanisms in evolution. Many scientists feel that intended outcomes influence their own biological mechanisms even in evolution (in other words, evolution is purpose-driven.) In any case, do not underestimate the power of intention. Think of it as electricity or electromagnetism and learn to harness it.

Distant Healing Put to the Test

Distant Healing Put to the Test

Christopher Stewart

On an operating table at a medical center in San Francisco, a breast cancer
patient is undergoing reconstructive surgery after a mastectomy. But this will
be no ordinary surgery. Three thousand miles away, a shamanic healer has been
sent the woman’s name, a photo and details about the surgery.

For each of the next eight days, the healer will pray 20 minutes for the
cancer patient’s recovery, without the woman’s knowledge. A surgeon has inserted
two small fabric tubes into the woman’s groin to enable researchers to measure
how fast she heals.

The woman is a patient in an extraordinary government-funded study that is
seeking to determine whether prayer has the power to heal patients from afar — a
field known as “distant healing.” While that term is probably unfamiliar to most
Americans, the idea of turning to prayers in their homes, hospitals and houses
of worship is not. In recent years, medicine has increasingly shown an interest
in investigating the effect of prayer and spirituality on health. A survey of
31,000 adults released last year by the national Centers for Disease Control and
Prevention found that 43% of U.S. adults prayed for their own health, while 24%
had others pray for their health.

Some researchers say that is reason enough to study the power of
prayer.
“Almost every community in the world has a prayer for the sick, which
they practice when a member of their community is ill,” said Dr. Mitchell
Krucoff, a Duke University cardiologist and researcher in the field of distant
prayer and healing. “It is a ubiquitous cultural practice, as far as we can
tell…. Cultural practices in healthcare frequently have a clue. But
understanding that clue, learning how to best use it, requires basic clinical
science.”

Science has only begun to
explore the power of distant healing, and the early results of this research
have been inconclusive. In an article published in the Annals of Internal
Medicine in 2000, researchers reported on 23 studies on various distant healing
techniques, including religious, energy and spiritual healing. Thirteen of the
23 studies indicated there are positive effects to distant healing, nine studies
found no beneficial effect and one study showed a modest negative effect with
the use of distant healing.

The study of distant healing was once the realm of eccentric scientists, but
researchers at such prominent institutions as the Mind/Body Medical Institute in
Chestnut Hill, Mass., Duke University Medical Center in North Carolina and the
California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco are involved in the field.
And the National Institutes of Health’s National Center for Complementary and
Alternative Medicine has spent $2.2 million on studies of distant healing and
intercessory prayer since 2000 — a small fraction of the agency’s annual budget,
which totaled $117 million in 2004.

Some people think even that relatively small sum of money is not being well
spent.
“You can’t use science to prove God,” said John T. Chibnall, an
associate professor of psychiatry at St. Louis University School of Medicine in
Missouri, who co-wrote a scathing rebuttal of studies on distant prayer
published in the Archives of Internal Medicine in 2001. “We shouldn’t waste the
money of the government showing that Jesus is ‘the man,’ ” Chibnall said in an
interview. “Faith is faith. Science is science. Don’t use science to strengthen
or diminish belief in God.”

While some scientists oppose such studies on religious or scientific grounds,
others question whether it is possible to devise a scientifically valid method
for measuring something as nebulous as the power of prayer.

What constitutes a “dose” of prayer? How does one define prayer? Is
channeling Buddhist intention or reiki energy the same thing as praying to a
Judeo-Christian God? And how do you determine whether it was prayer that made a
patient better, or something else, such as the placebo effect?

“There are enormous methodological and conceptual problems with the studies
of distant prayer,” said Dr. Richard Sloan, a professor of behavioral medicine
at Columbia University in New York. “Nothing in our understanding of our
universe or ourselves suggests how the thoughts of one group of people could
influence the physiology of people 3,000 miles away.”
For example, said
Sloan, unlike clinical trials where researchers can carefully monitor the dose
of medicine each patient receives, it is all-but-impossible for scientists to
control or quantify the amount of prayer directed toward a patient.

“People all over the world are praying for the sick,” said Sloan. “Friends
and family are praying for people in any control group. Unless you assume some
potency — that the prayers of certain people are more powerful than others — you
are talking about a tiny amount of prayer against the enormous amount that is
already out there. It is like taking a drop of water, putting it in Lake
Michigan and trying to detect the effect.”

Weighing the possibilities
One of the leading centers for such research is
the Institute of Noetic Sciences. Founded by Apollo 14 astronaut Edgar Mitchell
in 1973 and located on 200 acres of oak-studded hillside in Petaluma, the
institute describes its research mission on its website as “exploring phenomena
that do not necessarily fit conventional scientific models.”

Marilyn Schlitz, vice president of research and education at IONS and a
senior scientist at California Pacific Medical Center, is leading the study of
breast cancer patients.

For more than 20 years, Schlitz’s research interest has been studying whether
the human mind has hidden capacities to promote healing. Some of her projects
sound a bit far-out. She once studied whether off-site healers could revive
anesthetized mice. Another time, working on research funded by the Pentagon, she
conducted experiments designed to determine whether someone could provoke a
physiological response in a person in another room simply by staring at his or
her picture on a video monitor.

Her work continues to look at whether mind can influence matter.
“The
survey data is saying people pray, that they are using it as part of their
healing regimen,” said Schlitz. “Shouldn’t science look at that? … Maybe it
helps in certain kinds of conditions and not in others. Well, we cannot answer
that unless we take a rigorous, systematic look at what people are actually
doing.”

Early research
Cardiologist Randolph Byrd did the first major clinical
study on distant healing at San Francisco General Hospital in 1988. He divided
393 heart patients into two groups.
One group received prayers from
Christians outside the hospital; the other did not. His study, published in the
Southern Medical Journal, found that the patients who were not prayed for needed
more medication and were more likely to suffer complications. While it had
flaws, the study garnered considerable attention.

Since then investigators have continued to look at the possible effects of
remote prayer and similar distant healing techniques in the treatment of heart
disease, AIDS and other illnesses as well as infertility. Numerous experiments
involving prayer and distant healing have also been done involving animals and
plants. One such study found that healers can increase the healing rate of
wounds in mice.

“Critics often complain that if you see positive results in humans it is
because of positive thinking, or the placebo response,” said Dr. Larry Dossey, a
retired internist in Santa Fe, N.M., and author of numerous books on
spirituality and healing. “Microbes don’t think positively, and are not subject
to the placebo response.”

In the early ’90s, Elisabeth Targ and colleagues at the California Pacific
Medical Center studied the effects of distant healing on 20 AIDS patients.
Schlitz, who worked with Targ (who died of a brain tumor in 2002), said the
study found those receiving prayer survived in greater numbers, got sick less
often and recovered faster than those who did not. A follow-up study of 40
patients found similar results.

At about the same time, Duke University’s Krucoff was leading a small but
unusual experiment to determine if cardiac patients would recover faster after
angioplasty surgery if they received any of several intangible (noetic)
treatments. His study compared the results of healing touch, stress relaxation
and distant healing with standard care.

Spiritual healers from around the world — including Jews leaving prayers at
the Western Wall in Jerusalem, Buddhists praying in monasteries in Nepal and
France, Carmelite nuns in Baltimore offering prayers during vespers, and
Moravians, Baptists and fundamental Christians praying during church — each
simultaneously prayed for one of several designated groups in the study.
All
of the groups did better than the standard care group, with those receiving
distant prayers doing best. He has since completed a larger, multi-site study.
That study — the largest to date — is currently under review for publication in
a medical journal.

The IONS and California Pacific study, which will be completed next year,
will follow 140 breast cancer patients who have undergone reconstructive
surgery. At the time of the surgery, each patient has two small, spaghetti-like
tubes of Gore-Tex implanted in her pubic area to measure how much collagen is
deposited as her wound heals.

The study is designed to address one of the primary concerns raised by
critics of distant healing research: that the studies are not designed to
account for a placebo effect.

Researchers have divided the patients into three groups. One group will be
prayed for but will not know of the prayers; another will be prayed for and will
be told of the prayers; and a third group will receive no prayers and will be
told nothing. The healers who will do the praying must have years of experience
in distant healing and come from varied traditions — such as shamanism,
bioenergy and reiki.

After eight days, the tubes will be removed and collagen growth in the wound
area will be analyzed — an accepted scientific method to measure wound healing.
The rates of healing of the groups will then be compared.

But even some who believe in prayer’s power to heal concede the difficulties
of designing a good study.

“I do believe distant intention works,” said Dr. Loren Eskenazi, a California
Pacific Medical Center surgeon who is working on the study. “I don’t know how,
but it works. But it is so hard to design a study that works. We don’t know the
mechanisms. Is their whole church praying for them? That could skew the results.
If someone wishes [a patient] ill, that could void the results.”

Mary Destri, 43, a reiki healer who is participating in the study, also had
misgivings about the study design. She said she had participated as a healer in
other scientific experiments, but had typically been given more information
about the patient.

“This is the first time I’ve ever worked on someone I’ve never met, the first
time I’m working with someone I have no access to, cannot communicate with,” she
said. “It helps with intentionality to have a sharper focus.”

Dossey said such concerns were a challenge for researchers.
“I think you
can sanitize the process so greatly you eliminate the effect,” he said. “They
are taking prayer out of the real life context to the extent that you wonder if
this has a real life applicability. People in real life tend to pray for people
they know and love. Healers will say if you want healing to work it has to
include a factor of profound love and compassion. Many of these randomized,
controlled trials virtually eliminate any knowledge whatsoever of the
subject.”

As a cardiologist Krucoff has seen many patients near death. He says that
what determines their survival often reaches beyond technology and medicine.
Whether you call it chi, faith, divine energy or placebo, this intangible factor
makes a difference, he says.

“We are pretty good at doing studies on the safety and effectiveness of pills
and procedures,” said Krucoff. “We have a well-established approach to figure
out what the risks and benefits are likely to be….

Could you inadvertently kill someone with a loving prayer? Not too many
theologians want to have that discussion. But in healthcare, these are
fundamental questions.”

Energy-The Medicine of Today

Energy Medicine: Future Medicine, Today!
by Carol Rose Keppler
Master Energy Intuitive (M.EI)

There are exciting developments in the field of complementary medicine, including the discovery of “energy medicine”, often called “vibrational medicine” or subtle-frequency healing. You may know some of its applications: acupuncture, acupressure, Reiki, homeopathy, magnetic healing or gem therapy. In ancient times, and still used today, the laying on of hands was actually a simple form of healing by energy transfer. Incantations, prayer and affirmations are other forms of what we now call “non-local” healing. Ever since modern physics identified the fact that everything that exists emits a unique frequency that affects not only its immediate environment but resonates and reciprocates effects at great distances, there has been a renewed interest in the burgeoning field of energy medicine.

Frequencies are generally measured in hertz, the lowest frequency, with a wide variance in frequencies emitted all the way to the most subtle energy bands, nine of which have been discovered and named by scientists. For example, most rocks emit low frequency patterns but rose quartz atoms dance much higher at 350 hertz. Hertz frequencies fall into two categories: harmonic and chaotic. The average human body in the toxic world we live in reads at approximately 62-68 harmonic hertz; electric lights read at 60 chaotic hertz. The wellness of the body is dependent on harmonic hertz. Chaotic hertz can kill us or damage body function to the degree that health and/or mental stability are in serious jeopardy.

Science on the Move

With the aid of modern technology we know that as the body’s cells are cleansed they resonate at levels increasingly subtle frequencies. Intuited research tells us that these frequencies can be measured by devices that are even now being developed. Intuitive rating scales can also be used. Once fully cleansed cells output subtle energy, which appears to be the basis for cellular self-repair given sufficient water for the amping of hydro-electric energy. And time! The body repair schedule takes up to a year for cell regeneration with soft tissue repair within just weeks. The more subtle the frequency, the healthier the cell.

Nobel Prize winner, Dr. Alexis Carrell, proved through his experiments that the cell was “immortal” by keeping a chicken heart alive for seventeen years. He reported: “The cell is immortal. It is merely the fluid in which it floats that degenerates. Renew this fluid at intervals, give the cells what they require for nutrition, and as far as we know, the pulsation of life may go on forever.”

Whatever we put in our body emits a frequency for good or ill. This is why it’s important which foods, supplements and medications we take. If the frequency “ceiling” of what we take in is low, it will inhibit the cell’s ability to vibrate at its optimal level. In other words, something measuring 10-Hertz can cause cells to resonate at the 10-Hertz level but no higher. Our intuited finding is that nerves repair at an extremely subtle frequency, so the best a low frequency product can do is to support the nervous system, but not repair/regenerate. You can easily discover for yourself whether the frequency of your supplement has accomplished its purpose because if you stop taking the supplement, the symptoms will generally re-appear.

Nearly one hundred years ago a uniquely structured water, which we refer to as “micro-crystalline” water, was developed through Russian research on glacier run-off from the Hunza region. The population in this remote part of the world tended to live with amazing health and vitality, 130 years or even longer. Of particular interest was the ability of structured water to “hold” information – the frequencies of herbs, gemstones and other “naturals”. As time went on it became obvious that when certain positive frequencies such as these met the negative frequencies of diseases, toxins, radiation or microbes, the problem frequencies were neutralized. Then the cells, restored to their natural function, were once again capable of producing the subtle frequencies necessary for cellular self-repair.

Dr. Richard Gerber, M.D., a traditionally trained medical doctor, wrote three books on the subject of vibrational medicine. In his book, A Practical Guide to Vibrational Medicine, he defines vibrational medicine as “the emerging science of utilizing various forms of energy for diagnosis and healing.” He also predicted that trained intuitives would be able to pick up the frequencies of malfunctioning organs while they were still in an early energetic state, creating the ultimate preventive medicine which will correct energy imbalances in the body before overt illnesses ever develop.

Dr. Gerber’s predictions are everyday news today. Google “medical intuitive”. Last we looked there were over 26,000 listed including Carolyn Myss, PhD., Caroline Sutherland, and Judith Orloff, M.D. The Energy Intuitive is the west field in the on going search for faster, easier and more effective ways to address the epidemic of illness on the planet today. And conventional medical tests are able to verify the amazing accuracy of their intuited readings.

For many “real world” pragmatists, talks of “healing frequencies,” “energy fields,” and “imprinted waters” are way beyond belief. Many scientists, however, as well as physicians and health practitioners, are now beginning to look at the benefits of energy medicine. Because many have tried it themselves they are better able to understand the subtleties of regained health through deep cellular cleansing.

We applaud these physicians, traditionally trained yet open to complementary and alternative therapies which has now moved into the realm of clearing cellular disinformation at the molecular level. When the old ways fail to serve us well, it is indeed time to look for answers elsewhere.

In early 2008 it became obvious that with the addition of cleansing frequencies over the years the human system begins to clear toxins beyond the cellular to the molecular level. At that point, after fifteen years of adding nearly 9000 subtle harmonic frequencies of herbs and other “naturals” to the formulas, something quite different was taking place.

The ceiling of system “homeostasis” was being shattered. Symptoms still apparent responded to the addition ever more subtle frequencies and once again the ceiling was vaulted through what we called the “Infinite Energy Field” with its millions of energy bodies. The four energy bodies the books reported had been surpassed.

Where does it all end? Hopefully the “Quantum Field” holds the answer to optimal wellness- radical wellness and longevity based on the purity of not just the physical body but the entire energy field of light bodies.

How Does Distant Energy Healing Work

Distant Energy Healing: An Effective Method for Health Management

Qudra, Universal Energy

by Michael Nudel and Eva Nudel, Ph.D.

According to quantum physics, we live in a world of energy. Moreover, physicists discovered that matter is not matter, as people have considered it for many centuries, but energy. Physicists also accepted the view that everything in the universe depends on our consciousness and attention to events and occurrences. Everything is energy and everything may be corrected with energy use. New understanding of the outer world and inner world make us able to control and manage the energy of everything consciously and “energetically.”  The most interesting thing is that even ordinary people may do this.

People possess bio-energy (human energy) and have a sixth sense of feeling mental, emotional or other energy. People can develop the ability to control and direct energy because they have an inborn “energetic” ability to feel, determine and control vital energy. They may open up and develop the ability to sense energy, accumulate or transmit it. By learning to control and direct their own energy, or even energy of anyone else, people learn how to achieve optimum health for themselves and others. When specially trained to use their bio-energetic abilities, people can direct bio-energy towards their health and well being. In other words, by developing the ability to sense energetic fields, everyone may perceive the world around them with a more complete perspective that includes a newly developed bio-energetic ability.

Humans are energy beings, and human bodies correspond to energies fluctuating in the cosmos. The roots of human problems are energy problems. Thought is followed by energy. Emotions and feelings may be described as energy actions. When any energy problems are left uncontrolled in the energy system for a long time, all the energetic imbalances may become physical problems or illnesses. Once any problem is corrected and eliminated energetically, the physical state is balanced as well. Humans’ energy systems and their energy problems may be corrected with healing energy. The human energy may be cleansed, balanced, normalized and healed. Healing on the energetic level brings physical health.

Any energetic imbalances, even physical, mental or emotional conditions, may be fixed energetically with the energy or distant healing. The energy healing may be done at close distances balancing the energy field near the healee, or at any long distances. Bio-energy healing is described as healing performed on a healee’s field at close distances, whereas distant healing is healing performed mentally when a healee is not present, and is done from anywhere without the healer seeing or knowing the healee. In the world of energy, it is possible to control and transmit healing energies or relieve any energetic imbalances over any distance. This form of healing can be very effective when performed using special techniques and methods. Healers balance and normalize a healee’s bio-energy system, relieving blockages or stale energy and promoting the healee’s energy to flow freely in the system and balancing it.

There is no need for a healee’s direct participation in the process of distant healing. The healees may or may not be aware that this healing has been undertaken for them. Nevertheless, they may attain much benefit from it. The energy work is performed exactly on the determined healee. In distant healing, it is not necessary to know the healee. The healing is often done between people who do not know each other. This way, the information about the healee is perceived through his or her energetic information, name and birthdate, voice or photographs.

Nevertheless, in the world of energy there is no such thing as time or space. Distant healing (absent or remote healing) is a method of bio-energy healing at any long distance. It is based on quantum physics discovery that energy is not restricted to any time and location. Healing by bio-energy at any distance helps you to tap into that and learn to perceive or read energy and work with it. With distant energy healing, energy is controlled and can be guided by mind. Distant healing may be also named “mental healing,” because it is performed mentally with the energy use, control or transfer.

At first, the most important thing in distant energy healing is to release a repressed, weak, ill, congested or stagnant energy or blockages stored in the bio-energy systems and even at cellular levels, and open up the chakras or energy centers rather than bringing in new energy. This step of the energy cleansing is the most important part of any energy healing. It is not wise to add healing energy to a “blocked system” or “stale” energy. Vital energy, when added to bio-negative or bad, stale or stagnant energy, loses its value. Vital energy is only really vital for humans when it enters cleansed, functional chakras and balanced bio-energy systems. If stagnant or stale energy is not released, people may feel depressed and with low energy. Any pain or tension indicates that something is going wrong with the energy flow somewhere in the body. These areas of energetic tension affect the chakras, causing them to close, and show imbalances in the energetic state. Energy in blocked areas tends to release. In our stressful times, people need to perform chakra and energy cleansing periodically. When they go with it, work with it on an everyday basis, and allow it to continue the energy cleansing, it will not be long until they are feeling very good again. The healers cleanse and balance the energy and chakras at a distance, and heal imbalances in the energy system and in the physical organs and systems as well.

When the chakras are cleansed, opened and functional, they bring as much energy to the bio-energy system as it needs and filter the energy appropriately for the body’s use. When an energy system is weakened by energy and physical imbalances, healers may send their healing energy to strengthen it. People can only benefit by discharging blocked or negative energy from their bodies, and from cleansing and healing their chakras on a regular basis. Healthy functional chakras not only give people the possibility of increased self-awareness, emotional stability, mental clarity, and spiritual growth and maturity, but also the ability to heal themselves and others.

As with any energy healing, distant healing works with an individual’s etheric “double” body. The etheric “double” energetic body (an energetic matrix of the physical body) contains his or her complete energetic information including all organs, parts and systems of the physical body. Whenever healers perceive energy in the healee’s bio-energy field at a close or any long distance, they “deal” with the ether “double” body. Sometimes the healing is called “etheric” healing. Performing bio-energy healing, healers also work with the etheric “double” of the physical body, at first, perceiving its energetic information and imbalances, and then, cleansing, balancing, normalizing, and healing the energy in the etheric and physical bodies. Healing and normalizing imbalances on the etheric level brings health, vital energy and balance to the physical body.

The method of healing by energy at a long distance is performed on a hologram (the mental image) of the person to be healed. The healer needs to imagine the image of that person clearly in their mind (mental picture), and put this before the eyes. When performing a distant energy healing or assessment, healers keep the healee’s visualized energetic image before their eyes. In this way, a healer controls over the healee’s energy field and conducts the energy cleansing and healing with his or her mental energies. Then, the healer performs mentally the same techniques as for healing a person who is physically present.

To perform healing at a distance, healers must be skilled in all methods of healing using energetic influence and suggestion, or successfully practiced methods of controlling inner and outer energies (telepathy and ability to receive and send information at a distance). You can try the method of distant healing if you have already developed a strong memory, can concentrate your consciousness, fill yourself with the universal or cosmic energy, control the flow of your energy, and have a positive state of mind. Distant healing is performed by advanced healers who may easily achieve a meditative state of mind and control and direct their mental energies. The distant healers must be mastered in meditation and visualization. Healers should open and develop their ability to feel, determine and assess human energy at any distance. They use photographs in the beginning of practice, and then, when mastered, use visualized or drawn healee’s images.

Vast amounts of distant energy healing work is done with visualization. Visualization, like intuition, is a type of thinking which is used for making contact with the inner-self, rather than with the outer world. For healing purposes you should use mental imagery, which is different from visualization in that it induces deep physical relaxation in addition to the process of visualization. Becoming relaxed and achieving a meditative state of mind, you may stimulate and facilitate vibrant mental healing images. To achieve the meditative state of mind or ability to stay focused on a single thing that will be needed for your bio-energetic work, you should practice frequently.

You can start performing the exercises for developing your healer’s ability. For example, you may remove bio-negative or blocked energy from the chakras and open them up. Here is the exercise how to cleanse your own solar plexus chakra using visualization: Stand facing north, and breathe calmly. Command mentally: “Bad, bio-negative energy, stale energy, is flowing out of my solar plexus chakra with a clockwise (as you see your visualized image from outside) yellow spiral through both legs. My chakra is cleansing itself.” Visualize yellow spirals flowing from the chakra through both legs. When the chakra is cleansed, you may add some yellow energy by the following exercise. Raise your hands with palms in. Mentally imagine yellow energy flowing from the cosmos through your hands and spinal column to the peak of the chakra cone on the back, and twist the energy with a clockwise cone spiral to the cone foundation on the front (an inch up from the belly button).

Healing by energy at long distances can be very effective. Distant healing promotes the wholeness and balance of the organism and its resistance to illnesses and weakness. Moreover, the energetic balance prevents physical and mental illnesses. Distant healing discharges harmful energy from human energetic systems; normalizes many physical, mental, and emotional conditions; and restores and maintains health. It makes the physical organs and body systems stronger and healthier. After the distant healing, people feel renewed and full of energy. Distant energy healing is as effective as any other types of energy healing. It is a powerful healing tool for your and your relatives health management on an everyday basis.

The distance method has invaluable advantages. When we heal a person face-to-face, we feel in front of us equal energetic systems where the energetic imbalance occurs temporarily, interfering with healing energies. The effectiveness of the energy influence at close distances can be even less than when healing at a distance because of the interfering energy fields. At a distance, we increase our energetic influence greatly, because we mentally put the image of the person in the space at no more than eight inches in height or draw the healee’s energetic image and perform healing and balancing, using the same techniques as at a close distance.

Distant healing really belongs to the Integrative Medicine of the future. It may be used to help people to recover quickly after operations, restore people’s energy and health in hospitals, and even prevent any illnesses and imbalances. Distant balancing and energy work can be used to balance and heal people and pets. When you master in this method, you will be able to relieve many conditions, such as headaches, any pain, and stress in yourself or your relatives in a few minutes, no matter how far away the healee will be. While our minds effectively control bio-energy at any distance and our thoughts may be healing, let’s benefit from the distant healing and balancing in an everyday life.

I’m Not Sick, So Why Do I Need Healing?

Here is a simple way to understand a misunderstood aspect of ‘healing’.

Okay, so maybe its more like transformation but what it comes down to is moving from point A to point B. When someone is healing they are moving from the ailment place to the healing place. The same is true for someone who is “feeling okay” but knows there needs to be a change. They feel the desire to move from where they are to somewhere else. Movement is the key here. It connotes change and change is what The Healing Place is all about. When you make changes from your heart, from the inside as you do with energy healing your environment will change too. It has to, because whether you are aware of it or not, you are constantly creating your environment.

So again you may ask, “Why do I need healing if I don’t feel sick?”. The answer is to make a stronger connection to YOU. Energy work is the shortest distance to connecting to yourself.  Whether we know it or not, most of us are in search for our true self, our life’s calling, and becoming one with our mind, heart, body and spirit, thus, energy work, attunemnents and the path to self discovery aims to help one connect to one’s self.

How to Choose a Healer

How to Choose a Healer

By Lauralyn Harter,

Choosing a healer is a very personal experience. A negative experience can turn you off from further healing, while a positive experience can help you heal in miraculous ways. Here are some tips for choosing a healer that’s right for you.

Female healers on the rise

Things You’ll Need:

  • Intuition
  • Awareness
  • Questions to ask
  • Things to look out for
  • Clarity on your needs and goals
  1. 1

Word-of-mouth. Referrals from people you know who have been to a healer with rave reviews is one of the best ways to find a good healer. You get to ask the person detailed questions about their experience, which prepares you for the style and method in which the healer works.

  1. 2

Magazine/internet ads. It’s really important to connect to your intuition when looking at ads. Don’t let pretty ads mask the real energy that is resonating from the healer. If there is a photo in the ad, ask yourself, is this someone who looks kind? Do they look compassionate? Do I think I will feel comfortable working with them?

  1. 3

Check out the healer’s website and read it thoroughly. Read any testimonials to see how other people have been helped. Read the healer’s personal story, if they have one. A healer who has healed themselves and “walks the walk” is ideal because they have the empathy, compassion and wisdom that strengthens their healing ability.

  1. 4

The healer’s energy is WAY more important than the healer’s credentials. While you do want to find someone who has training in their expertise and experience, it’s just as important that you’re comfortable working with them. All the degrees in the world are of little help if you don’t feel you can connect to your healer because ultimately YOU are the one who does the healing. The healer is a guide.

  1. 5

Identify if the healer’s ego is present. Does the healer say “I” a lot? i.e. “I healed this person,” “I clear the energy,” “I remove the blocks,” “I release your toxins.” Listen instead to if the healer says, “Reiki healed this person,” “The Angels clear the energy,” “We work together,” etc. A humble healer works from the heart, not the mind.

  1. 6

Determine what your goals are before you call the healer. When you call the healer, be very specific in letting them know what your healing goal is. For example, tell them, “I want to quit smoking. How can you help me?” If what the healer says makes sense to you and you feel inspired and motivated after hearing about their practice, go for it!

  1. 7

Is the healer organized? Healers are notorious for being unorganized when it comes to the business side of their practice. In order to maintain healthy boundaries and feel safe with your healer, it is important that they maintain a professional practice. This includes providing receipts if necessary, keeping track of payments, ending and starting sessions on time, and the healer’s ability to focus and ground during the healing. While no one is perfect, the overall practice should feel professional and the rules of what to expect should be clear.

  1. 8

Does the healer support you or do you feel judged or not good enough? A healer who is working through ego may feel the need to defend or project their own insecurities outward if they believe your healing is “proof” that they are a “real” healer. If a healer ever tries to blame or judge you for how you feel, what you’ve done, who you are or blames you for why your healing goal hasn’t been reached, walk away and don’t go back!

Spiritual Healing Practice of Laying On Hands

Spiritual Healing Practice of Laying On Hands

Past and Future of an Ancient Healing Practice

From Ron Lavin, MA & Penny Price Lavin

Hands-on healing, also known as Energy, Radiant or Spiritual Healing, has been practiced by many cultures for thousands of years. In Greek mythology, Chiron, the wise Centaur, taught Asclepius, the God of Medicine, hands-on healing. This practice was so revered that Grecian statues of Asclepius were made with gold-gilt hands, celebrating the power of touch to heal. This was also the source of the caduceus, modern medicine’s symbol of healing and the word Chi-ergy, which evolved into surgery. Later, in Christianity, we are told countless stories of Christ’s ability to heal using the laying-on-of-hands. Jesus further told his disciples in John 14:12: “… he who believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do…” Humankind was truly given a profound legacy in Hands-On Healing. Resurgence of Hands-On Spiritual Healing There is a resurgence of interest in Hands-on Healing and indeed, the entire field of complementary health care. The NIH (National Institutes of Health) has even created a new division devoted solely to evaluating the validity of alternative medicine. Time and again, Hands-on Healing is studied and true to form, it faithfully demonstrates its effectiveness in healing, as published in scores of scientifically based national healing studies. As Daniel Benor, MD. states in his book, Healing Research: Holistic Energy Medicine and Spirituality, in which he reviews 155 controlled and published studies, “(it) leaves little doubt that PSI energy healing is a potent therapy”. A recent study, in which I participated, has generated a lot of excitement in the complementary health community and is being called landmark. It was designed and overseen by the NIH and Larry Dossey, MD, and was published in the December 1998 issue of the Western Journal of Medicine. The study was on: “Distant Energy Healing in a Population with Advanced AIDS”. The results showed that Energy Healing played a significant and positive role in the healing process. Specifically, the study reports, “they acquired significantly fewer new AIDS-defining illnesses; they had noted decrease and/or elimination of various secondary diseases; they had lower illness severity and required significantly fewer doctor visits, fewer hospitalizations and fewer days in the hospital.” Since opportunistic diseases are seen as ‘the real killers’ of AIDS patients, due to the patient’s lowered immune systems, these results are considered highly important. Our ancient legacy of energy healing is currently being expressed in a myriad of different styles, from; Reiki, Mahi Kari, Muri El, Jo Ray, Therapeutic Touch, (TT) and others, including my own method, A Healing Touch (AHT). My definition of healing is any activity that increases communication between one’s body and spirit, allowing one to move towards greater levels of self-acceptance, integration and wholeness.

Spiritual Healing is now being used by a wide variety of practitioners in private practice, as well as in many hospitals around the world. Even a number of eminent doctors, such as Dr. Mehmet Oz, at New York’s Columbia-Presbyterian Hospital, are using Energy Healing, prior to, during and after surgery, with remarkable results. Today, many more people are proactive about their health and want to learn tools for self-healing. Healer Training courses and Schools are developing nationwide. Students include medical professionals, wanting to learn more tools to deepen their existing practices, and people on the path of self-discovery, transformation and self-healing. As we begin to understand that our health is in direct relationship with our mental, emotional and physical energetic patterning, it becomes evident that we hold the power of health in our own hands. Spiritual Hands-On Healing is one of humankind’s special legacies for achieving optimum health and is a valuable component of the medicine of the new millennium.
