Mevlana Rumi and Fariddudin Attar

Every master has a select vessel where secrets and knowledge may be poured into. The Master seeks an empty vessel, a heart ready to receive. Attar the famed Persian poet and mystic too sought an empty vessel and in his presence arrived the young Jelaluddin Rumi. The latter, as legend states had fled with his family,  the Mongol invasion of his homeland  and en route to Anatolia, in the city of Neshapour, young Jelaluddin had to come into the physical presence of Master Attar who would gaze at him and grace him for such works the world had yet to see. He saw Jelaluddin’s father walking ahead of his son and said, “Here comes a sea followed by an ocean.”
Naturally, Attar a master, recognised the secret of Rumi and gave him his  Asrarnama, the book of secrets, which prepared him to study deeper the subtle mysteries of the heart. Later in his adult years, Mevlana Rumi was to meet his spiritual Master and guide who would alchemically transmute the scholar into an ecstatic lover of Divine, something the world had yet to expreience. Again, Shamsuddin too was in search of a open vessel, a master whom he would transfer his entire being and secrets to. Rumi was the select and elect candidate for Shams e Tabrez.
Among the students of Rumi, was Husamuddin. As the story goes, Husamuddin implored Mevlana Rumi, “If you were to write a book like the Ilahiname of Sanai or the Mantiq ‘ut-Tayr (Conference of the Birds) of Attar it would become the companion of many troubadours. They would fill their hearts from your work and compose music to accompany it.” Thereupon Mevlana Rumi embraced the suggestion and composed the song of the reed which would become the opening chapter of his Mathnavi, a six volume epic work of the famed Eastern poet who stands today as the most read poet in the West.
Song of the Reed

Listen to the reed as it tells its tale;

it complains of separation.

Since they cut me from the reed-bed,
men and women have been crying over my lament.

I wish for someone with a bosom torn apart by separation,
so that I can tell them the meaning of the pain of longing.

Everyone who stays far away from his own origin
seeks to get back to the day he was together with it.

I have been crying in every gathering;
I have kept company with the miserable and the happy.

Everyone has thought he is my friend,
but no one has sought my inner secrets.

My secret is not far from my crying,
but neither eye nor ear has the light to find it.

Body from soul, soul from body are not veiled,
but no one has permission to see the soul.

This call of the reed is fire, not wind.
Everyone who has not this fire–should be naught.

The fire is love that came down into the reed;
its fervor is love that came down into the wine.

The reed is the companion of everyone parted from a beloved.
Its tunes have torn apart our veils.

Who has seen such a poison and antidote as the reed?
Who has seen such a sympathizer and longing lover as the reed?

The reed tells the tale of the Way full of blood.
It tells the love stories of Layla and Majnun.

No one but the delirious is intimate with this consciousness.
The tongue has no customer but the ear.

In our sorrow the days have become untimely.
The days accompany the burning griefs.

If the days are gone, tell them “Go!” and never mind.
But Thou, please stay, for none is as holy as Thou.

Everyone but the fish is fed up with his water.
For everyone without daily bread, his day is very long.

No one who is raw can understand the state of the cooked.
So the talk should be short. “That’s all!”

Drink from the Wine of Rumi, DRINK!”

We would like to share this opening with the new Islamic Year, Muharram, from a seeker  at Qudra Healing from South Africa.  Our pattern of sharing dreams through this blog serves as inspiration for us and seekers in the Kingdom and beyond.

In today’s sohbet, discussing the nature of inspiration and the concept of recycling inspiration through active / passive sharing, a seeker responded, I am torn between which is better (to share or contain). The response to this came as, when this state over takes, inspiration questions, ‘it is not you, rather you a vessel which has been emptied in order to recieve. Then why keep for thyself what we send in order to share? It was sent to you, through you for ALL. We wish for you to share, this fragrance in all it’s scent. What then shall be our reply to inspiration?

Note: inspiration must come where there is emptiness; space. Occupation and clutter cannot house or welcome this guest. Through breaking, tearing and being ripped apart we die only to be born again!

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
Dear Qudra,
I hope this email reaches you well and in constant spiritual elevation. May Allah increase his gracious favour upon you and your family Inshaa Allah.
I must tell you I had a dream two nights ago – I don’t recall much of the dream but you were in the dream and urging me to drink from the cup. Exclaiming to me, “drink from the wine of Rumi, DRINK!”
I even woke up saying yes I will drink from the wine of Rumi in my sleepy state.
Quite amazing. Left me with a good feeling of comfort Subhanallah.
Just felt I had to share
Much Love,
R

In response to this seeker who previously shared another dream, a poem that was transmitted to heart a few years ago, came to surface. The very intention of its composition, ‘to drink,’ shall now be shared openly  with seekers of the wine. No shame is sharing, reservations no more, for the one who gave the drink through words, the same says, share the cup openly. More than a personal desire to share, we see it as an opening, an order, an obligation.  As an initiate of the Mevlevi Order of Rumi, I am pleased to share the drink the love, in whatever way or form requested. I am grateful to seekers on the Path who share dreams as this remains a language, a secret code, our way of communicating where words may fail to express otherwise.

Cup of Love

You’ve asked to drink from the cup of Love

Now let it pour from high above

Savor every sip my friend

You’ll never run to an end

Prepare to fall deep in love

Abducted and placed in a secret cove

You’ll toss and turn

You heart shall burn

You’ll slip and fall

And know none at all

Your body too shall be set aflame

A fiery blaze-yet who’s to blame?

Once you’ve joined the inner tavern

Sip with His friends

Need not beg, borrow, lend

When your cup is almost empty

It shall be filled again aplenty

You’re’ sick in love!

A contagious malady from above

A drunkard

An addict

Whatever you wish, call it

The only way to free yourself

Is to be forever in love.

The Spiritual Practices of Rumi

51fnt2g1zl-_sx331_bo1204203200_

This book, The Spiritual Practices of Rumi by Will Johnson, was THE book which presented itself days before I was to meet my Twin Soul. This book brought to light the spiritual relationship of Mevlana Jalaluddin Rumi and his teacher Shams e Tabrez. In it, Johnson exposes the symptoms of the soul friend. All that he discussed and brought to light,  I was literally experiencing in real-time. It was the most surreal experience. The book akin to a dream. Life became the book. The book became Life.  From feelings of unexplainable affinity, sharing and multiple synchronicities, I realized mid way through the book that this individual was me in another physical form. “Like a split embryo” I  would jest without realizing how weighty the statement was. As far back as grade one,  I recall my librarian gifting me with ‘Mitchell is Moving’ by Majorie W. Sharmat. This  book was about two dinosaur friends who lived ‘next door‘ for ages, then split after Mitchell moved and ‘weeks’ later both were reunited. In retrospect, it seems to me that the time-lapse where the two friends reunite is symbolic to the theme where connected souls are never separate. Time is simply a veil. The weeks of separation, as described in the book,  represent an incalculable measure of time.  Are you really separate from those you love? Is there separation where hearts are in sync? Does physical proximity determine true connection? These were some of the lessons learned when I was to become Margo; The Rumiosaurus who never moved. It was Mitchell who moved and caused Margo to evolve and turn (no pun intended) into a Rumiosaurus. This was the first foreshadowing of the experience I was meant to realize.  This book remained with me for three decades until I sent it over to Mitchell or Shamsosauraus.  This Shams I speak of too left like Mitchell, let’s just see for how long. Does time matter? Lesson: Detachment. Separation is a mirage.

A  year later, in Grade two, I received my first Cabbage Patch; the adored doll for all little girls of my era. My parents had booked the doll through Sears and I awaited eagerly for its arrival; my twin?  When the cutest doll arrived,  I discovered her birth certificate had the same name as mine. The Twin Tale begins.  Was this another clue of the mysterious twin soul journey?  Well in my story, yes. Tragically, this doll too I kept for a number of years thinking I would pass her down to a future child. Lo and behold, she was inadvertently placed in the give-away items during a move. Lesson: Detachment.  Cabbage Patch left yet, her story lives on, so is she actually gone?  What is more important: That what lives in your heart or a fleeting love? Spirit is eternal. Spirit lives on.

Now going to back to Will Johnson’s book; an updated version of my dinosaur tale, I had decided to connect to the author and actually share what I was experiencing. This twin -friend, mentor, sister and very mystical persona was a Shams in disguise. Had I figured it all out? Maybe. In fact, I would utter this all the time to “Shams”. And it would end up in endless laughter tainted with, ‘could she be’… Well one thing for sure, she was the catalyst which mirrored my own reality and set me in alignment to my calling. Likewise, as poetry evolved as an outpouring of our exchange, she would  hint that there is a Rumi within you. And I suppose, based on Johnson’s book, I was more in resonance with Rumi’s personality as opposed to Shams; someone who befitted her better.  Now fast forwarding, Shams delivered all the lessons she had to to Rumi and then, typical of all Shams’, she disappeared like vapour. Very common in  Twin Soul relationships. I was to now find myself without a reflection and apply all the lessons learned. In the process many things happened. Life happened. Looking back, it feels like yesterday. There is no sense of actual separation. The only reality is now. There is nothing but now  that exists. We paint our own reality. We tell our story. This is a story from my Story.

There is no better medium to see yourself than through a mortal. For millions of seekers over the ages, the Way to Divine Love through dissolving of oneself through love in The Mirror, was the Way. The Mirror we speak of is not confined to a particular individual. This mirror becomes a causation of seeing everything and everyone as a mirror reflection..a shift in perception brings you to a conscious realization that all that we perceive is our own mirror reflection and there is no way more exalted except through the lens of Love. The Mirror is a representative of Divine Love at your door. This shift in awareness brings you into a state of harmony with One; with All. A Monistic view that All is One and One is All. All is a reflection of One, One is all. A total annihilation of the self to Love, surrender to Love, becomes the preferred path, the way to live, the way to bliss. Love on the highest frequency brings you to a state of love which  cannot be described in earthly terminology. It is selfless, unconditional, and without ego. I becomes estranged. It becomes detested.  One becomes watchful of the I games through many guises including story telling and tales. It comes unannounced and is a Master Trickster. Could love transform the heart to loyally love, eternally love and place one in confinement to a place where Love exists only through physicality? Love too says, I am beyond physicality. I am unconfined, beyond mind, logic and reason. Yes, Love Can.

There is no way more exalted except through the lens of Love.

Love too says, I am beyond physicality. I am unconfined, beyond mind, logic and reason. Yes, Love Can.

When Shams disappears from your life, the effect is like a trailer of the Isra And Mirage (The Prophetic Journey and  Ascension). You are brought into a  state ONE or Fana through love and upon descent from the state of ascension/Fana, one arrives to a state of Baqa; a separation, back to oneself; individuality /duality). The Prophet Mohammed (S) returned from His Lord Most High to mortals in order to carry out his responsibilities and service. It is the highest stages of Fana where one is spiritually dressed in Divine  Attributes.

Having thus been endowed with Divine Attributes, the seeker is fit for Divine Vicegerency and is sent back  to carry out his duties. However his return is not the same as he was before. Rather graced and strives for both Fana and Baqa during his visitor status on this plane.

Fana is a gateway to Baqa. Fana is necessary to experience Baqa.  You are never separate. Separation is delusion. Through the moments spent in the veil of separation, every moment becomes a tribute to Fana. How can one understand the most sought after station which  Mustafa the Beloved (S) was given privy to, without experiencing a trickle from the Ocean of Love?  This simply cannot be digested or grasped without the experience and if one claims experience then that too may be a state of delusion. There is no real knowing of reality. If one speaks, it may be fable. If one claims, it may be an interpretation of his own story. If one loves, stays in love and becomes love, then one has experienced. Love is the ultimate experience.

Yesterday, a seeker had asked a question which lead to a discussion on the Rumi Shams Phenomena. In response, I shared the title of Will Johnson’s book so that perchance she too may find what she seeks after studying the same. Apparently yesterday was January 11 or 111. 111 appears many a time in this blog unveiling experience of 111 in connection to  the Twin Soul Phenomena. I consciously realized late night that it was 111 and here I am again speaking on the subject and that the talk on the subject was certainly no coincidence.

Peace,

Qudra

What you seek is seeking You.- Mev. Rumi

Inseparable Shadow

A lonely traveler strolled along a shaded pathway

Suddenly thunder shattered the starry sky

Lightning struck her instantly

Fatally she gasped for air

Currents of electric waves charged her soul

Spirit revived

An angelic presence

A second life

It was you!

Another Me?

Indescribable transparency

The moment of awakening

Alighted at last

Fire lit

Love’s delight

A shaded path with no road signs

Tragic disappearance

You came and left without notice

Alone again upon this path

Despair not

Your inseparable shadow;

My eternal companion…

Dec 17-Love Shift and Soul Attunement

Shab e Arus, Master of Love; Mevlana Jaluluddin Rumi’s night of Union  corresponds to the Gregorian date, December 17th. The lunar or Hijra date of his birth corresponds to the 6th of Rabiul Awal. The chances of both solar and lunar dates to align on one’s birth and death date are one every few decades or even centuries. Today, these two dates coincide marking the birth and ‘death’ of Jalaluddin Rumi as ONE. Traditional teachings state the passing of a saint translates to Divine Union or the “wedding night” of the beloved where soul reunites with his Lord. How magical, mystical, beautiful that today the lovers of Rumi can actually live to experience the alignment of such a date. Next year and the coming years will not be the same in terms of numerics. Hence, as per the instructions of our noble Master and guide who transmits guidance from the realm of love, today is a day of great alignment for those who seek it through the love of Mevlana Rumi.

Great avatars were sent to heal humanity and enlighten souls, penetrating hearts in a way indescribable through words. Mevlana Jalauddin Rumi reigns as the Greatest teacher of Love, the King of Love, The Heavenly Poet whose poems transcend time and space and speak to every seeker.

Rumi is for every season and for every heart

Qudra Healing, a student of the  Mevlevi Way of Mevlana Rumi was initiated into the  mystical order via a Dede; an authorized conduit of the Mevlevi Order of Rumi. He summoned her to take the pledge of allegiance in the order through Owaisi (telepathic) initiation. Feeling at home once again, Qudra explains that from childhood up till present, she can connect the dots, experiences and openings which resonate to the Shams Rumi Phenomena as she coins it.  “To say in the least, it donned upon me just a few days ago that my lunar birthday, 6th Rabiul Awal, coincides with Mevlana Rumi’s lunar birth date”says Qudra.

Guruma Anandmurti’s Commentary on Hu

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4I60ZHdx5Og

The passage below by Guruma Anandmurti captured our attention, as it flawlessly explains the experience of Qudra Healing and a million other seekers who can relate to the effect of the perfect mirror, the twin soul, the Shams e Tabrez persona who becomes the means of breaking, rebirth and yearning for the Divine. Hence, we dedicate this post to the Shams e Tabrez personalities who can never be forgotten and unconditionally loved and have become the greatest teachers of Love for those who fell into their gaze.

The greatest teachers came without notice, taught without books the greatest lessons. Love was their language, grace was their method of delivery and they left without notice. They remain in our hearts, separate not from our being. Their tragic disappearance was only illusion. We are in essence One with whom we love. Thus we rephrase, this  ‘tragic disappearance’ was actually the greatest bounty leading to a process of total dissolving and realization that there exists only ONE in the realm of Love.

Introduction

This is a prescription of love which has been transcribed below for the benefit of all seekers. To maximize the benefit of this article, the following instructions are recommended on how to read this passage.

Instructions

  1. Sit in a comfortable place free of noise and distrubance
  2. Play Anandmurti’s  Hu video above
  3. While listening to the video above, read aloud the transcript below in unison with the video.
  4. Let the energy of your recital heal

Mawlana Jalaluddin Rumi says, “The breeze at dawn has secrets to tell you, don’t go back to sleep. You must ask for what you really want, don’t go back to sleep. People are going back and forth across the door sill. The door is round and open, don’t go back to sleep. I would love to kiss you. The price of kissing is your life. Now my loving is running towards my life shouting, what a bargain, let’s buy it!”

One has to be a seeker, but before becoming a seeker one has to become a lover. You cannot become a lover if you have filled of worldly attachments. World is here in front of us, to give us experiential knowledge, understanding that it is a changeable transient entity. Laugh, sing, dance, make love, have children, create houses, money and power. And yet, in a moment death snatches everything and  leaves you shivering and shaking in fear and ultimately drowing in unconsciousness.

It is not possible to taste the Divine wine of love, if you haven’t met a Shaikh; a mystic. One must become a ney, a reed flute. Once has to become empty, hollow, then all the poetry and all the music will come through you. This Divine Love occupies heart and mind and then all universe seems as if its just  the Beloved peeping to us. From behind the sun, behind the stars and moon, flowers and trees, man and woman, children and old. Once this Divine Love makes its roots in the heart, person gets overwhelmed, drenched in this beautiful experience, where the mind goes into the zone of silence. The whole universe then exhibits the Divine dance of love One who has surrendered to the Lord is called a sufi. The sufi sings the Zikr, “La ilaha illalahu” There is no reality but God, there is only God. Zikr has three parts. The first is the denial of everything visible. Second is the explosion into the individual and the third part is the out breathing of Divine presence: HU. Sufi sings Hu; that which is, that which was and that which will be.

World becomes nothing more than an image stitched with gold thread in the tapestry, just the playful edition. Drunk in love, the lover calls out in longingness to the one that resides in the heart, but still seems so far. Nobody wishes a heaven if the price is death. Nobody wishes for immortality, if the cost is death. But this is what love is; death!  But from this arises the resurrection of new you, pure virgin, loveful and now the calls of the heart get answered. Until the ego is alive, there is no possibility of love to happen. When darkness of ego is blown away with longings, urgency, search of the truth, this becomes possible. For Jalaluddin Rumi, it happened when Shams e Tabrezi arrived and stole his heart and mind. And then the love occupied this vacuum. Once someone asked Shams, whose head was full of ideas and desires, he said, “tell me about Divine mystery.” Shams said, “I cannot tell you the mystery. I can tell this mystery only to •someone in whom I can see myself. This mystery I will tell only to myself. I don’t see myself in you. I see someone else.”

I cannot tell you the mystery. I can tell this mystery only to someone in whom I can see myself. This mystery I will tell only to myself. I don’t see myself in you. I see someone else.”

The mind has to be emptied of all attachments, greed, passion darkness. And for this, the teacher; the Shaikh has to hit lovefuly until the mind is shattered. The existence of the Beloved cannot be proven physically, nor it is  a fantasy. This presence at best has been given many many names in different cultures, yet the presence remains nameless. You may call it Allah, Bharaman, Reality, Truth or any other word. Because that is what best mind can try to do; give the name to the nameless. The Shaikh is a mirror, a reminder of that presence, understanding of this mystery comes through the Shaikh and it transforms all the energies of the seeker. Rumi said, “I have phrases and whole pages memorized, but nothing can be told of love. You must wait until you begin to live the love. Be patient. But only patient.”

The journey which begins from love towards God a moment comes in this journey when finally the union happens all boundaries get dissolved. Then this I is no more  different from that. As Al Hallaj Mansoor cried out, Anal Haqq-“I am That”(Truth) and then total emptiness. I is no more. So who will call whom? Just a vast emptiness. Which is best described by Sufis as “HU”  That which exists. Hu means that which was, and will be. No word can ever contain the infinitude presence once the consciousness arises after this volcanic experience. On asking,  what happened to you? Sufi says, HU.

Among many themes, this passage beautifully explains the mysteries of the Shems Rumi Phenomena, the role of a mystical teacher, the secret of death through love and the expulsion of the I for the one who seeks Hu. The above transcript can be taken as a mantra prescription for awakening the sleeping heart, mind and soul.

Gaze down now to view the reflection
A peek at the height of love’s perfection
I see Me
You see You
We see Him
How could this be?
As in reality we only see ONE imagery!
We’ve unlocked the key to our own Mystery
Our Unity
The Truth WE see
Not Blasphemy

(QH)

*The  reflection which Shams refers to was reserved for Mevlana Jalauddin Rumi. Likewise, Rumi’s reflection and mirror was Shams e Tabrez.

Master Llewellyn Vaughan-Lee on Oneness & Rose Winstanley Trefz’s Vision

Master Llewellyn Vaughan-Lee on Oneness

[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gby6y4i4ljU]

There are also forces that stand in the way of this new awakening, that want to keep us in the grip of their power structures, to keep us enslaved with greed and self-centered desires. They have even polluted the spiritual arena, where self-improvement rather than selfless service is encouraged. One cannot sell devotion or market how to give oneself. Love has no power structures or hierarchies; it is not for sale. It passes freely from heart to heart along the web of oneness that connects us all. But in the dense patterns of our worldly thought-forms we have forgotten that the real gifts of God, like the sunlight, are always free. For centuries the secrets of divine love and the knowledge of oneness has passed freely from heart to heart in secret, while the world went about its unheeding ways. But the need of the time is that it come out into the light now, so that it can be lived in the world.

A web of light has been created around the world to help us make this transition. Through this web the invisible is already becoming visible, the signs of God already revealing themselves in a new way. In the energy of divine oneness the opposites have already come together. But love needs us to bring this potential into manifestation, to make it part of the fabric of daily life. Without our participation the potential will ebb into a fading promise of something that might have happened.

This is the work of lovers, of those in service to His love. Lovers know how to give themselves to the moment, to be awake in the eternal now. They are not afraid of the consequences of their actions because they know that only His love is real. They honor their soul’s pledge to witness His oneness. In the mirror of their heart a secret is being born, and in the network of lovers this secret is coming alive. Humanity has forgotten that the world can only be transformed through love, that love is the greatest power in creation. But His lovers have always known this, and long ago they gave themselves to the work of His love.

Without this central note of pure love, the future will remain just a dream and the patterns of the past will close more tightly around us. With love joy will return, and joy will cleanse away the pollution of the world, the negative thought-forms and patterns of greed that devour so much of our energy and life force. When joy returns to the hearts and lives of humanity, the whole world will come alive in a new way. The soul of the world will sing the oneness of God and we will know why we are here.

Vision  shared by Rose Winstanley-Trefz

The Ascended Masters of Grace are beckoning humanity to unite under the banner of LOVE for the sake of Universal harmony. Today we take the honour of sharing a beautiful dream which has been in ‘incubation’ since 2003. The TIME is NOW to share based on inspiration. We thank Light Worker Rose Winstanley-Trefz for the timely release.

“How many have powerful dreams? My dream, which was more like a daydream came from what I authored, called ‘Awaken, the time is now’ What, we must wonder is, how many other women have dreams like this one in which the Divine Feminine is beckoning?
In my dream I was observing a magical place, like a huge arena, in which there were several people sitting in a semi-circle in the center of this stage. These people appeared to be in a deep state of meditation. These figures had an absolute sense of serenity about them and a look of peacefulness on their faces and you could sense this loving energy that encompassed everything around them, including me. I felt like I was being embraced by an invisible wave of warmth, love and acceptance.
These figures emitted a brightness of light that shone outwards from their bodies like prisms. The radiant energy in this place was so vibrant and electrifying, yet paradoxically I had this feeling of inner calm and serenity like nothing I had ever felt before in my life. I knew I was here in this place for a very specific reason and that this moment was the most important one of my life.
As I watched, a powerful looking elderly man with a great, flowing white beard and a brilliantly white robe spoke to a younger man who had a gentle face and a light around him which made him shine like the sun. His essence, everything about him was golden, including his robe. “Son, we have all the elements in place. Our children are ready now. We will proceed.” The one in the golden robe turned to his neighbor and looked at him lovingly. This man with his radiant smile had a look of such compassion, and with the sparkle in his eyes, I knew that the person before me was known as Buddha, the Enlightened One.
I suddenly felt a rush of air around me, and I recalled a book I had just read about the early Gnostic’s and I completely understood their concept of gnosis, this inner “knowing”.
As Buddha looked to his neighbor and ever so lightly touched him, this man looked up and with his piercing dark eyes so intense and powerful, it was clear this was the Prophet Muhammad pbuh. The last figure stood and began doing the Sun Salutation, a series of movements that I had learned from my yoga classes. Krishna, with his liquid, mesmerizing, flowing movements, was the embodiment of meditation in motion.
A couple of other figures entered this most holy place. These were the most beautiful women ever imaginable. They were so dazzling, with their long robes that had what appeared to be thousands of glittering gems around them reflecting all the light. All the men rose and bowed respectfully to them.
The golden robed man embraced the taller of these two woman, “Greetings, Mother Sophia.” Sophia in the Greek language, means wisdom. Most people aren’t aware of the significance of the Divine Feminine aspect of God which has been so neglected throughout history. Jeshua lovingly embraced the women. The last woman he approached, as he looked deeply into her eyes was, “Mary.” For the briefest instant the love between them flashed like a spark and I was encompassed by sheer powerful force of it.
Mother Sophia embraced each one of her son’s, and said. “Let us begin.” She took the hand of Moses and Buddha and sat down. Mother Sophia turned to look directly at me and I heard the words, “Awaken, awaken children. The time is now.”
At 4:30 a.m., 9/24/03 I awoke with the words echoing through my head, “get paper and pen and write.” I wanted to go back to sleep, but this sense of urgency, this nagging message continued until I was driven from my bed to my desk where I wrote non-stop for three hours. ‘Awaken,The Time Is Now’ is the result. Time has passed since I wrote that first draft, and it has sat in my files until now. This bit of writing keeps coming to mind. It calls to me and insists that I do something with it. So grateful to share it with others now. ”
